Just a day to go to the big game and we are just €170 short of hitting an amazing €2,000 for Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association One last ask for everyone who sees this to share or donate whatever you can to help give The IMNDA as much as possible
The official launch of the inaugural Ann Gilmour Memorial shield took place in Ballinree with Jamie Gilmour who has organised and is sponsoring this Shield Competition which will be contested annually between Ballymackey FC and Ardcroney FC. Jamie as all in the local Football Community will know has had a long association with the game in North Tipperary both at Juvenille and Adult level. Ardcroney and Ballymackey are 2 clubs that Jamie has a particular association with having coached at both clubs over the years.
Present also at the Launch were members of Anns Family as well as Committee members and players of both Clubs.
The match takes place Sunday July 25th in Ardcroney at 2pm in association with the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association
Ann passed away on April 25th in 2016 from Motor Neurones Disease and fought a brave battle against against the illness and was supported all the way by her husband Jamie and her loving family.
It is hoped to raise much needed funds for The Irish Motor Neurones Disease Association between now and Sunday July 25th.
We would appreciate every like, share, comment, retweet and off course donation towards The Ann Gilmour Memorial Shield.
