August 2012 saw a group of Girls start their competitive Juvenile Football Journey as they travelled to Brickfields Nenagh to line out for Ballymackey FC in a season opening U10 Girls Shield Competition. This Friday almost 9 years to the day the majority of those girls travel to the same venue, for what will be their last ever Juvenille game, as they take on long term rivals Newport in the 2020 U18 Girls Cup Final. The girls will be joined in the team by some of the girls who lined out for other teams against them 9 years ago, as they finish their Juvenile journey together. Best of Luck to the Girls. What a contribution they have made to our club throughout their journey from young Juvenile players to Young Senior Women's Players and Juvenille Coaches. The young girls in the photo include 5 of the coaches from last weeks Summer Camp, as they have been preparing for the upcoming final they have been inspiring the next generation of boys and Girls in the club.
