Ballymackey under 12 girls league campaign started with a 6-2 loss at home to a very good lough derg team. Lough derg we’re 4-0 up before Ballymackey got going, it was 5-0 at half time, ballymackey played a lot better after the break and pulled two goals back through Olivia Fitzpatrick and lily Kate Kenneally, the girls never gave up and stayed battling to the end. Well done to Lough derg who were the better team on the day.
