Ballymackey Men's A Team had a 4-2 win at home to Borroway Rovers in their return to competitive action. Ballymackey went a goal behind but a Aidan White strike saw the sides level at the break. A fine Nathan Lynch effort put the home side into the lead, but Borroway equalised the match at 2-2. Ballymackey regained the lead as Aidan White created space in a crowded box to finish low to the right. A very tight game was made safe when Tommy Hogan surged forward down the left from deep in his own half and unleashed an absolute piledriver that screamed into the right top corner. A great effort from the lads who had to work hard for 90 minutes with no fresh legs to spring from the bench.
