January saw the launch of our Soccer Mums program over 30 had signed on and we had a great few weeks of football before we unfortunately had to stop when the lockdown came in. Again something to look forward to here when Football returns as we will build on a great start January saw the launch of our Soccer Mums program over 30 had signed on and we had a great few weeks of football before we unfortunately had to stop when the lockdown came in. A stellar campaign by our 2007 Girls the Autumn saw them qualify for the All Ireland U12 Finals by coming out on top in a regional competition that contained the top 2 teams from North Tipp, South Tipp, Clare and Limerick. A memorable Finals day saw the girls compete against the best teams in Ireland and finish in the top 6. On the league front the Girls managed to wrap up the North Tipperary U13 Premier Girls division before the shut down. We were in contention in several other leagues before the Shutdown, our U18 girls were in a battle for league honours in a competitive League. Our U16 boys squad backboned by our successful U15s were challenging for honours in the U16 Major Division, as were our U13 boys. Our talented U12 girls team were top of the U12 Premier Division after 7 matches and our U14 girls were looking likely to be in the shake up for league honours. The big take away from 2019/2020 was the amount of players we had taking to the field with around 400 men and women, boys and girls from U6 to over 35 (well over 35) togging out in red and navy and hopefully it wont be too long before we can safely return to actionThe big take away from 2019/2020 was the amount of players we had taking to the field with around 400 men and women, boys and girls from U6 to over 35 (well over 35) togging out in red and navy and hopefully it wont be too long before we can safely return to action
