Ali O Kelly scored a super solo effortAli O Kelly scored a super solo effort

Ballymackey Under 14 Girls had a great 5-0 win away to Lough Derg. The score was opened after 5 minutes with Maeve Cunneen finishing from an Ali O Kelly cross. Dara Bourke, Jane Ryan and Maeve Cunneen provided 3 assists for Clodagh Daly to score a hat-rick in 15 mins. Half time score was 4-0 to the Ballymackey girls. In the second half there was an incredible resurgence from Lough Derg and it was end to end all the way through the second half. For a second week in a row Ali O Kelly scored an incredible individual goal, collecting the ball from half way and taking on the Lough Derg defense to produce a cool finish to the roof of the net and close out the scoring. The player of the day was Caoimhe Delaney who played in goal for the first and worked tirelessly up front in the second half. Dara Bourke was a close second today controlling the game from midfield, and a special well done to Shauna Mitchell who played her first game for Ballymackey today and slotted in well in defense as if she was playing with the team for years. Well done Shauna. Today’s squad included Caoimhe Delaney, Shauna Mitchell, Ciara Ryan, Lucy Gould, Emer Moroney, Ali O Kelly, Orla Kelly, Megan Ryan, Robyn O Dwyer, Chloe Whyte, Dara Bourke, Jane Ryan, Maeve Cunneen and Clodagh Daly .
