Ballymackey Under 13 Premier Girls had a 6-0 win at home to Newport. With strong winds and rain throughout the hour the home team had an excellent display today. A hat-trick from Clodagh Daly after 20 minutes and a goal each from Eimhear Troy and Robyn O Dwyer left the home team with a 5 nil lead at half time. But Newport had several attacks in the first half but for solid defending from Lucy Gould and Nikola Zarina. Kitty Murphy has her best game of the year in a defensive role and Jane Ryan got the sixth goal and that’s how it ended. Everyone were outstanding today but Lucy Gould was the player of the game today. Well done Lucy.
