Clodaigh started brightly and quickly going 1-0 up within the first ten minutes and got a second a few minutes later. 2-0 down Ballymackey settled into the match and retained more possession. Clodagh Daly' s corner found Ryan Moloney unfortunately his shot went just wide of the mark. Martin Killackey kept Clodaigh Rangers from getting a third goal as half time approached. Ballymackey made a few changes at half time. Early in the second half Ballymackey were awarded a penalty. Austin Duff calmly slotted it home. Soon after Ballymackey were awarded a free-kick on the edge of the box. Jack Kenneally hit the top corner from the free. Ballymackey were now 2 Clodagh Rangers 2. Man of the match Austin Duff scored his second goal with ten minutes remaining.Clodaigh Rangers weren't finished yet and levelled the match again to 3-3. A nail biting last three minutes ensued with Owen Doughan scoring the winner with a great strike. Snatching three points from the league leaders. Game ended Ballymackey 4-3 Clodaigh Rangers. A great team performance from all the squad.
