Ballymackey U16 Girls had a hard earned draw away to BT Harps. The home side had the better of the opening quarter with Ballymackey finding it hard to get into Harps half playing into the wind. As the half wore on the Ballymackey girls were starting to get on the ball more and were threatening in wide areas. Half time was reached with neither goalkeeper majorly test despite a end to end flow to the game. The second period continued as a end to end affair. A mazy run from Chelsea White saw her brought down in the box and she picked herself up to confidently dispatch the penalty. Harps equalised with 15 minutes remaining, for once getting in behind a solid Ballymackey back line. A fine performance from the girls lots of quality football and fantastic effort. Stand out displays from Chelsea White, Andrea Brennan, Abbie O Dwyer and our player of the match Chloe McAuliffe. The girls were well supported by Anna Grace, Maeve Steed, Kelsey Hogan, Tess O Donovan, Phoebe Sage, Samantha Hogan, Maria Moroney, Ellie Troy and Katie Ryan
