Ballymackey Under 12 girls continued their great start to the season with a fine home victory against Lough Derg. Playing into a stiff breeze in the first half Seonaid McGuigan and Anna Lee formed a formidable partnership up front with both scoring and assisting each other early in the first half. Sadhb Connolly also found the net before half time. McGuigan and Lee continued to impress after the interval with both scoring again early on. Ava O'Rourke having traded the goalkeeper gloves with Sarah Young for the second half scored her first goal for the club and Jenna Hackett scored arguably the goal of the game on full time with a brilliant individual effort. All girls played their part and their excellent passing and tackling impressed the early morning onlookers.
