Following  their Combined Counties Football League Cup Final replay win on the 19th of May Ballymackey Women have their first break from competitive football since Summer 22. July 2022 saw Ballymackey commence a successful CCFL season where they won the Season opening Women's Cup, finished League runners up and were honoured with the CCFL fair play award. The girls jumped straight from the CCFL season into the North Tipp 2023 season where they completed a League and Cup Double. After a one week turnaround it was back to CCFL action for the 2023/2024 season where another competitive season was completed with the Ladies having their most significant success to date winning their maiden Counties Cup. Huge commitment was shown by the squad over 22 months of non stop competitive football with the girls playing 60 games against teams from all 4 provinces of Ireland, with lots of long distance journeys for away matches. Though they are currently not playing competitive Football, the squad continues to train Weekly and hope to get a few Friendly matches over the Summer. New players are always welcome, players of all ability levels are welcome and we also cater for all players regardless of the commitment they give us from Social Footballers to those who want to push themselves and take on a full and challenging season schedule.
