Ballymackey u14 Girls made an early morning trip to Borrisokane in the league today and came away with a well earned 2-0 today. The game was scrappy early on but ballymackey settled and created a few half chances which they failed to convert. Just before half time a Mioda o shea corner was headed to the net by Olivia Fitzpatrick. Into the second half and ballymackey got more control on the game and restricted Borrisokane to very few opportunities, at the back Abigail Armstrong and Lisa Fitzgerald were well on top. Olivia Fitzpatrick controlled the midfield allowing Mioda o shea to attack at every opportunity. Charlotte deegan was the focal point in attack creating opportunities and winning the ball back on numerous occasions. it took until 8 minutes from time for ballymackey to make the game safe when Mioda o shea burst through the middle and calmly slotted home.
