Ballymackey u14 girls travelled to Knigh in the league today and suffered a 3-1 loss. Playing against a strong wind balkymackey we’re shocked with the concession on a penalty early on but thankfully it went over the bar, a few mins later Ballymackey we’re in front Caoimhe Cleary played a through ball and Charlotte Deegan fired home, a few mins later it was nearly two when Grainne Troy pounced on a loose back pass and slipped it past the goalie but unfortunately a defender got back to clear off the line, knigh got back level when a long ball into the box fell for the striker to slot home. Into the second half and ballymackey had a few chances to go back in front but it was Knigh who got the next goal and added another a few mins later to finish the game. Ballymackey battled and worked hard throughout. Panel Emma o connell, niamh Spain, Anna Fitzgerald, Abigail Armstrong, Isabel Ryan, Caoimhe Cleary, keevah morris, lily Kate kenneally, Olivia Fitzpatrick, Grainne Troy, Charlotte Deegan, Alina Guzan, Sophie o Farrell, clodagh Murphy, Mary Kate Purtill and molly o Brien
