We are delighted to introduce the first 6 Coaches on our Girls Easter Camps. Current Ballymackey U18 stalwarts, Amy Bergin, Aoibhín Delaney, Laura McCarthy, Aoibheann Slattery, Niamh O Brien and Laura Bergin will be all Coaching on our camp under a UEFA B Qualified Head Coach. All 6 girls are experienced Camp Coaches having worked on last years Easters Camp and on FAI Summer Camps over the past Summer. The Girls have all worked hard on their Coaching Qualifications and some of the Girls have in excess of 40 hours of FAI Coach Education completed, a list of courses these girls have attended includes:
FAI PDP1 course, FAI PDP 2 course, 7V7 SSG Workshop, 7v7 PDP Workshop, Ruud Dokter PDP Workshop, Safeguarding 1 and FAI Womens Annual Convention. The girls also have the experience of starting their football journey at a young age and among their ranks are attendees of our first Soccer Sisters Program back in 2009. This puts the girls in the perfect place to relate to their young charges on the Camp because they were them young players themselves. Ballymackey are running a 2 day “Weplaystrong” Girls Easter Camp on Monday April 6th and Tuesday April 7th. This Camp is open to All girls 5-14 years old and not just our own Girls. The Camp will be staffed by experienced FAI accredited Female Coaches and it is the ideal start point for anyone taking up Football for the first time. We can guarantee 2 days of great fun 😀on a safe, well organised, well ran camp, so come along meet your friends or make new ones on the School Holidays. The camp runs 10 to 2 both days and costs €20 which includes a exclusive #Weplaystrong shirt.
